Description

Headstone Manor & Museum is home to four historic listed buildings including a successful wedding and function venue – The Great Barn, owned and operated by Harrow Council.  Located 10 miles from the centre of London and just 13 minutes to Euston from Harrow & Wealdstone station there are great transport links via the Metropolitan Line, Watford DC Line and national rail service. It is easily accessible to the M1, M25 and A406.

We are currently recruiting an Events Coordinator to join our team working 36 hours per week. The ability to hit the ground running, learn processes fast, and handle a varying workload is vital including regular evening, bank holiday and weekend work.

The successful post holder will be part of a small team who are the face of the Great Barn venue to clients and the public, providing outstanding customer care delivering corporate, functions, events and wedding in the Great Barn. With excellent communication skills and a love of working with people, you will be the main point of contact for selected clients, dealing with enquiries, providing viewings and guiding clients through the process – from enquiry through to planning and coordination of the event.

To be successful in this role you would need to have the below skills & experience:

  • Proven track record in delivering excellent customer service.
  • Experience working as a venue based event coordinator.
  • Sales experience within a hospitality environment.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Substantial experience of working as in event coordination / delivery.
  • Flexible approach to duties and willingness to work anti-social hours.
