CSE Co-ordinator – VVE Team Manager – MG1

An opportunity has arisen for a Team Manager to lead Harrow’s Violence, Vulnerability and Exploitation (VVE) Team. You will lead Harrow’s response to children at risk of exploitation, act as the child trafficking single point of contact (SPoC) and ensure effective multiagency partnerships are maintained. You will have oversight over cases held in teams across Children’s services and work in partnership with social workers and managers to ensure extra-familial risk to children is identified and acted on to ensure the safety and well-being of children. You will coordinate the Multiagency Child Exploitation Panel and chair complex strategy meetings involving children at risk of exploitation. As a Team Manager, you will provide supervision on a 1-1 basis for your 3 Missing, Vulnerable and Exploited Children Coordinators. You will also be responsible for chairing the daily multiagency VVE briefing, which reviews all significant incidents of gang or youth related violence, ASB and exploitation and agrees immediate action to safeguard children and vulnerable adults. The VVE Team Manager also leads Harrow’s implementation of a contextual safeguarding approach to adolescent risk.
