Description

Harrow Councils Resources & Commercial Directorate is currently recruiting for an experienced Business Partner in the Business Intelligence Team to join their Strategy Division on a Fixed Term contract up to March 2021.  

The appointed candidate will perform an essential role in putting evidence at the heart of Council decisions through manging the relationship with the Housing Management Team, agreeing a level of support for performance analysis and insight, and managing a small team of skilled analysts to deliver the required outputs to a high standard.

The successful candidate will lead a small team of analysts and work with other specialist staff to provide high quality and responsive performance information and analytical insights, supporting the effective delivery of services across Housing.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Education to a degree level or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of a relevant service or relevant technical area relating to data management.
  • Knowledge of how data is stored and retrieved in Management Information systems
  • Experience of managing relationships with IT professionals and delivering improvements to IT systems
  • Knowledge and experience of project and research management.
  • Knowledge and experience of performance improvement and performance management, statutory and local performance frameworks.
  • High level data analyst with strong communication skills verbally and in writing.
  • Advanced user of Excel, Access or other relevant analytical tools.
  • Ability to understand key business priorities, strategies and policies in order to give appropriate advice and information.
  • Experience of managing a team of analysts.
