We require a Year Team Assistant to be responsible for managing and monitoring absence/punctuality of our Key Stage 3 students, maintaining student records and administrating other year group activities. This post also plays a prominent role in the pastoral support and behaviour, monitoring, mentoring and organising rewards and sanctions.

You will need a good general education, an interest in how young people learn and enthusiasm for supporting young people in a school setting. Having a background and experience of working in the public services e.g. Education, Health, Police would be desirable.

You will be an enthusiastic self-starter who will relish the opportunity of developing our pastoral systems and will be passionate about supporting our young people to achieve.

This is a temporary position in the first instance: January 2020 – August 2020
