Are you a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) or in your final year to becoming one?  

Harrow Primary Schools are looking for passionate and enthusiastic NQTs for September 2020, with an option to commence employment as early as July or August 2020. 

Teach In Harrow are a team of 30 collaborative Harrow primary schools and Headteachers, working together to find exceptional teachers for our borough. 

Teach In Harrow focus on helping NQTs launch a successful teaching career within the right environment, as each individual is different, from their teaching style to their ethos. Our schools are very versatile, ranging from 1-form entry to 4-form, LA Maintained Schools, Academies, Faith Schools and Schools with SEN provisions. For that reason, we offer the widest choice of primary schools to you, with each school having strong relationships with each other, working together and helping each other find the right applicants for our brilliant Harrow children. 

Our team of schools are committed to supporting, mentoring and developing their teachers so they can continue to make a difference and to inspire and retain their enthusiasm for their profession.  We offer learning hubs, bespoke school to school support and a vast range of CPD opportunities, including access to accredited courses for Middle and Senior Leaders. 

There are some basic eligibility requirements you’ll need to meet to become a qualified teacher in England (or working towards them): 

  • GCSEs, or equivalent, grade C/grade 4 and above in English, Mathematics and Science.
  • A degree, or equivalent teaching training qualification (working towards one and in your final year of teacher training).
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS).
