Overview

Learn Harrow is looking for a Curriculum Coordinator of Maths, IT and Vocational courses to join a small but growing team. We are expanding and changing our delivery and are looking for an outstanding, creative and proactive individual to join us.

The post holder will have a proven track record of working in the community learning or further education sectors. As an experienced tutor/manager the post holder will hold a teaching and assessment qualification (minimum Level 4) preferably with a specialism or be willing to work towards an IQA qualification. The post holder will have an enthusiastic and flexible approach to their work and be innovative in developing and identifying new opportunities. Familiarisation with current Ofsted framework is essential.  

About you

The successful candidate will:

  • Take responsibility for operational quality arrangements and in the wider service quality improvement plan and self assessment cycle.
  • Lead and manage a team of tutors under the guidance of the Skills Development Manager including delivery of continuing professional development
  • Plan and deliver relevant curricula and operational management to meet targets
  • Manage curriculum resources, venue booking and recruitment of learners
  • Manage progression, information, and advice provision to maximise outcomes for learners
