This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Residents Services Operational Manager to join Harrow Council’s Housing Team. The post holder will report directly to the Resident Services Manager (Estates & Sheltered Housing) and will have experience of tenancy management, safeguarding, experience in a sheltered housing environment and project work.

  • Has experience of tenancy management, safeguarding including within a sheltered housing environment and project work

The post-holder will report directly to the Resident Services Manager (Estates & Sheltered Housing) You be responsible for providing daily management including the supervision of Scheme Coordinators and Support Coordinators for the Sheltered Housing Service, ensuring the smooth running of our schemes.  You will also provide managerial cover for management in Estate Services, attending meetings in their absence and overseeing the day to day smooth running of the housing blocks and estates.  You will also play a key role in implementing new ways of working following a recent review of Estate Services and proactively engage with residents in Sheltered Accommodation embed improvements to our service offer as we come out of the pandemic. .  

You will have a strong track record in Housing management gained in a social housing setting, and the ability to deliver excellence in both long-term planning and in leading a small hands-on team. We are a customer outcome driven management team that likes to work collaboratively and at pace.

The post holder will be a good timekeeper and flexible, as it will be a requirement to attend occasional evening meetings and work outside normal working hours. In addition, you must hold a full driving licence and the use of a car for work purposes.
