Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Box Office Assistant to join Harrow Arts Centre, part of the Environment & Culture division at Harrow Council. The successful candidate will be part of a small team who are the face of the Arts Centre to hirers and the public, providing outstanding customer care.  With excellent communication skills and a love of working with people, you will work with a diverse range of community groups, organisations and individuals dealing with all enquiries and being responsible for providing administrative support for the ticketing, room and resource booking/hiring systems and procedures for Harrow Arts Centre.

Harrow Council is the 12th largest London Borough and one of the most culturally diverse local authorities in the UK, making it a great place to live, work and visit. Located 10 miles from the city centre and just 13 minutes to Euston from Harrow & Wealdstone station there are great transport links via the Metropolitan Line, Watford DC Line and national rail service. It is easily accessible to the M1, M25 and A406.

About you 

The successful applicant will:

  • Provide excellent delivery in customer care
  • Have strong word processing, spreadsheet and database skills to an intermediate / advanced level
  • Demonstrate accuracy of data input and calculations
  • Have flexibility in working hours to meet the service needs
